2010 June 3rd 4th & 5th: An Odissi/Ballet Dance/Theater Production. The story of the Warrior Queen who led Indians in the First Fight For Independence against the British East India Trading Company.

2011 May 14th: An Evening of Odissi Dance. at the UW Ethnic Cultural Theater, University of Washington, Seattle, from six to eight p.m.. This performance will provide an evening of rare pleasure to those who love Odissi Dance. But, as SEATING IS LIMITED it is suggested to COME EARLY to get tickets.

2010 October 29th & 30th: Dance of the Cosmos. This performance is dedicated to the memory of Guru Gangadhar Pradhan by both dance companies. The theme this year is "Orissi: Dance of the Cosmos."

2007 November 30 & December 1: Urvasi dancers and Evergreen College students will perform to both live Indian Classical music and recorded Classical music from India.

2006 November 4: Urvasi will perform at the 16th Annual Cultural Crossroads. Presented by the Ethnic Heritage Council and Crossroads Shopping Center.

2006 November 6: Urvasi Dance Company will perform at the Bainbridge Center for the Performing Arts on Bainbridge Island, Washington State.

2006 October 13: A Celebration of Dance! Student International Travel Benefit.

Performance and Silent Auction. Olympia, Washington.

2006 March 14 & 15: Rudraksha a dance troupe from Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India, graciously graced two stages in Washington State in as many days. On the 14th they performed magnificantly at The Evergreen State College. On the 15th they mastered the stage at the University of Washington. From here they went immediately to Eugene , Oregon, then further south to San Francisco.

2006 May 13, 12:00 pm: Urvasi dancers performed for the Olympia World Sacred Music Festival 2006, in Olympia, Washington.

2006, May 13, 3:30 pm: Urvasi performed for Lakewood International Festival 2006 at Pierce College, Ft. Steilacoom Campus, Lakewood, Washington

2006 May 27: 2006 Northwest Folklife Festival, Seattle Center, McCaw Hall, Seattle, Washington

 

2006 March: Urvasi, with 25 dancers and four musicians, performed at the Experimental Theatre in the Communications Building of The Evergreen State College.

2006 February: Urvasi Dancers at 21st Konark Dance & Music Festival, February 21, 2006 at the Konark Natya Mandap, Arka Vihar, Konark, Orissa.

2004 December: Urvasi dancers joined the Evergreen Dance Ensemble for an evening of Classical Odissi in an Orissi Dance Offering.
2004 April: Odissi-Orissi was an integral part of the performance Truth by Evergreen students in the Experimental Theater in Olympia, Washington.
2003: The Panchakanya was subject of the conference by that name in Kolkata, Bengal. Papers were presented during the days. Evenings were filled with performances by different performers in a diversity of Indian Dance styles.
2001: New choreographies were presented and Evergreen students performed Indian dance music. Raqs Halim a Neo-Tribal bellydance troupe that has gained a following throughout the Pacific Northwest, also graced the stage in Seattle.
2001: During the annual cart-festival in Puri, Orissa, Lord Jagannatha's chariot rests for a night at the Muslim cemetery to pay respect to Salabega, the Muslim poet featured in one of the dance numbers. At a time of religious isolationism, we decided to present this performance that respects all religions and embraces all faiths, all peoples, and celebrates each of our uniqueness.
